It offers individuals greater flexibility, autonomy, and control over their time, often leading to better personal well-being. At the same time, it can weaken spontaneous interaction and shared experiences that naturally build team cohesion. The outcome depends on how organizations respond: those that intentionally foster communication, collaboration, and a sense of belonging can preserve strong culture while still benefiting from flexibility.
